1 - Téléchargement et installation du client Nextcloud


Afin d'utiliser  l'application Nextcloud,  vous devez télécharger et installer le logiciel via ce lien : https://nextcloud.com/fr/install/#install-clients 


Une fois sur la page,  cliquer sur download for desktop puis choisissez la version adaptée à votre ordinateur : 


L'exécutable se trouvera dans votre dossier téléchargement. 


2 - Paramétrage de l'application  



Après l'installation, vous pourrez vous connecter à votre compte en lançant l'application :


L'adresse du serveur à rentrer est la suivante : https://owncloud.dfinet.ch


Il faudra ensuite renseigner votre identifiant et votre mot de passe.



Une fois connecté,  vous aurez la possibilité de choisir comment paramétrer la synchronisation.  

  • "Utiliser les fichiers virtuels plutôt que de télécharger le contenu immédiatement." :  Vous permettra d'interagir avec les fichiers se trouvant sur votre espace Nextcloud sans occuper d'espace sur votre ordinateur. 
  • "Tout synchroniser depuis le serveur" : vous permettra d'avoir le contenu présent sur votre espace Nextcloud également sur votre ordinateur. (Attention cette option utilisera davantage de mémoire sur votre disque)
  • "Sélectionner le contenu à synchroniser" : Vous permettra de synchroniser uniquement certains dossiers au choix se trouvant sur votre espace Nextcloud. 



Une fois connecté à votre compte, vous pourrez ouvrir l'interface NextCloud en cliquant sur la flèche blanche sur fond vert (accessible via les "icônes cachées" de la barre des tâches). 



Depuis ce menu, vous pourrez visualiser les dossiers actuellement synchronisés, mais également vous rendre dans les paramètres de l'application

vous permettant d'ajouter des dossiers à synchroniser ou à procéder aux mises à jour de l'application.

1 - Download and install the Nextcloud client



In order to use the Nextcloud app, you need to download and install the software via this link: https://nextcloud.com/fr/install/#install-clients



Once on the page, click on download for desktop then choose the version adapted to your computer:



The executable will be in your downloads folder.


2 - Application settings




After installation, you will be able to log in to your account by launching the application:




The server address to enter is as follows: https://owncloud.dfinet.ch



You will then need to enter your username and password.


Once logged in, you will be given the option to choose how to set up synchronization.


  • "Use virtual files rather than downloading content immediately." : Will allow you to interact with files on your Nextcloud space without taking up space on your computer.
  • "Synchronize everything from the server": will allow you to have the content present on your Nextcloud space also on your computer. (Warning this option will use more memory on your disk.)
  • "Select the content to be synchronized": Allows you to synchronize only certain folders of your choice located on your Nextcloud space.




Once logged into your account, you will be able to open the NextCloud interface by clicking on the white arrow on a green background (accessible via the "hidden icons" in the taskbar).



From this menu, you can view the folders currently synchronized, but also go to the application settings.

Allowing you to add folders to sync or update the app.
